Amelia's busy life

One of the gifties that Amelia received from Santa was an easel.  She's been showing signs of creativity, so why not?  Under the paper is a dry erase board.  Nothing gives her greater pleasure that letting Mom draw all over, so that she can immediately erase it.  Does she want to draw herself?  Oh, no.  One of the issues is, is that Mom CANNOT draw.  I get so excited when I 'draw' something and it is recognizable (think balloons, or flowers.  Or stick people) and before I'm even done, she is erasing it.

So, we try painting.

She really likes it.  The mixing of the colors, the slopping of the water, the lines, the squiggles.  Then it is ripped off and placed on the fridge of delightful art.

It's been awhile since Kami has been over.  Her mom has been 'in a family way', and it's been looooooonnnnnngggggg way.  And it's been really, really cold.
After pulling out every toy they could find, it was on to the play dough.  It was like having two gourmet chefs in the house.  At least for the ten minutes that their attention span lasted!

Then it was off for a little gallop.
Doesn't this face say - yipee!?

If the cowgirl thing doesn't work out, maybe modeling?  Mommy Coon should look into this . . . . . .
