That Darn Bunny!

How excited was Amelia for Easter?!?  We kept talking about the Easter Bunny, how he'd sneak in maybe leave her gifties, how we'd have to decorate some eggs.  Just in case you think we were requisite in the edification of the holiday to our progeny, the answer is yes.  There was passing mention of a resurrection, but that is really more Gramma's division.

Daddy was going to be gone on his annual Denali Bike Ride (stay tuned for details!) so a couple of things got postponed.  Gramma came over to help decorate eggs (at 10 o'clock on Saturday night).  We gave Mila a dozen eggs, paint, stencils, sparkles (that were horrendous) and free range (ha ha! get it?).

They looked good . . . . . ?

Uh, I forgot to take pics of what the Easter Bunny left.  Amelia found it right before dinner, and in front of too many people.  So, of course she hid, was shy, and pretended not to notice it.  This process of presentation to her is getting just down right wearisome.  It seems as though she is loved by more than the Easter Bunny, as Grandpa Stever and Grandma Lulu, and Grandma Mini bestowed some mighty fine boon.  She was appreciative, and very excited.

As an after dinner treat, it was open war with the eggs.  Mila was stoked to bash in everybody's eggs, but was quickly conquered.  Also a poor sport was Mom.  She only made it a couple of rounds.

Unfortunately we had a very sloppy Easter Bunny.  Mila has been finding plastic eggs all over the house; in her shoes, her hair accoutrements, and her clothes drawers.

That darn bunny!
