One of the fine services that the midwives offer is that they come back for a home visit the day after. I didn't even have to leave! Or get out of my bathrobe, which is becoming all too common.
Amelia could not be more excited. Or the most tender sister. She keeps saying 'Hi Celisse! I'm your big sister". She mandates that she holds her every day.
One of the biggest differences in our experiences from Amelia are nakiness. This kid does NOT like to be naked. I'm lucky to get Amelia dressed, and she never seems to be cold. Celisse is not a big fan of baths, no matter what the temperature is.
Celisse doesn't even like the anticipation that she might be getting undressed. We had to buy a wipe warmer for her. Anybody walking by would think we were trying to throw her in a pot of soup for all that she'd carry on about getting a clean diaper. It hasn't helped a whole lot, though.
She's still so cute . . . . . .
Check out these super cutie toes.
Amelia already passing on her terrible habits!
Here is the picture that adorned our whiteboard for quite awhile. I thought it was pretty cute, until I noticed my tummy was hanging in the breeze!
After Celisse was born, Amelia updated the picture. (notice that my belly is 'smaller'?)
Gramma Mini is just in love with a granddaughter that doesn't talk so much!
We're still liking her!
