Kami has been MIA in our lives. Her Mommy had hand surgery, so her Grandma came up and Kami has been soaking in over a month of Grandma time. It was, therefore, well overdue that Kami come play.
It still stuns me how these two little girls have grown. Where once they used to just sit next to each other, today they went right into Mila's room and began catching up; they literally sat on her floor talking back and forth.
When they finally emerge, they were beautiful. And beautiful they stayed. They tried to play outside, but it was H.O.T.!
The whole thing just ended in a tangle of ruffles.
Then there was the rock collecting. Kami had brought Amelia over a 'special' rock. I think it was so traumatic that more needed to be collected.
Then there was cuddle time on the couch. Mila really needed her little buddy.
Since then, when ever I have suggested something exciting, the answer has been 'Kami!'.
"Mila, what do you want to do today? - See Kami?!
"Mila, guess who's home! - Kami?! (correct answer was Daddy)
"Mila, guess what? - Kami's coming over?!
