When Mommies stifle their childrens creativity

Hello.  My name is Erin, and I'm a clean-a-holic.

Oh screw it, it isn't really a problem for me.  JR might disagree.  However, I'm home all day.  My house is itty-bitty, 80% hardwood floors, 10% white carpet (will not make that mistake again), and I have a dog, two cats and a three year old.  I should probably throw myself into the mix as well, I have been known to lose vast amounts of hair.  I notice things.

It only take two days before I can see an animal hairball dance across my floor like tumbleweeds.  No cleaning for a week, and what gets swept up might indicate I haven't done so in a month.  I admit, it has gotten worse since I've been staying home.  I have 'more time' to clean, so I tend to perk things up a little more often.  JR thinks I have a problem, especially since there have been small manifestations of these issues in the pixie.

But it often runs a-muck.  I mean, kids are meant to make messes, right?
Amelia loves to paint, and I loathe the process, 'cause I know that I will be cleaning many surfaces afterwards.

It all starts off so innocently.
She does a great job . . . .
Then she loses interest in the paper.  Here she is squeezing water out of a paper towel onto the melting pot of paint she's created.
Seriously, I had an eye twitch going on. I tried to suppress it . . . . . .
but I think Mile went down for a nap soon after.
