A couple of days after Amelia's birthday, it was bestest boyfriend Torrin's birthday. Being that his parents love him more, they had an actual birthday party for him. Torrin is a hockey man through and through, so naturally there was no way that he wasn't going ice skating!
Birthday Man shows up, and was good to go as he has all his own gear. His dad was almost left behind because he was too slow! Mila was pretty excited about putting on the pretty shoes, but after the first turn around the ice she was done. She still is uncomfortable with how 'slippy' the ice is.
So, Mom went skating with the Birthday Man instead. Which is okay, 'cause he is a rockin' skater!
In hopes of getting Amelia back on the ice, we put her in a larger pair of skates. She just went straight to the penalty box. So, it was back to the bleachers with Daddy.
But at least they were around to cheer on the skaters!
After ice skating, we all headed back to Torrin's house to play 'Pin the Hockey Stick on the Nanook'. Each kid got a prize at the end, and in the end the bag of wondrous surprise was the favorite game.
Mila was really excited about going to Torrin's party. We had spent a previous day of looking for Torrin's gift. In the end, we found a t-shirt and Amelia was delighted that Torrin immediately ripped off his shirt to put her's on. Then smeared it with strawberries, cake, ice cream and paint.
Apparently, Torrin had been looking for a present for Amelia, as well. Mila was in love; it was a little wooden playground, complete with an 'Amelia' and a 'Daddy'.
Mommy Adia then wanted all the short party goers to put a handprint on canvas for Torrin's room.
Yeah!
It was a good day.
Mila came home and immediately began playing with her gifty from Torrin.
Luvies!
Isn't he a cutie?
Mila has good taste in boyfriends.
