The bread winner

My husband is a very hard worker.  He tells me so.
Which might be the only proof I have.

Ha ha, I'm probably kidding.  In truth, J.R. has spent many years bouncing around in many jobs that, while challenging, he hated.  Ahhh, the pleasures of being a grease monkey (don't tell him I called him that).  Now, he is a park ranger.  He might B.S. around about it, but he loves his job.

Quite awhile ago, he was able to participate in one of those 'if a major disaster happened to our humble city, how/could we react?'.  In the end J.R. was okay, however Amelia was very, very concerned over his boo-boo.  She only saw the pictures, but we still heard about it for awhile.  If you ask, I don't remember how our city fared.  I probably should care . . . . . . .

One of J.R.'s responsibilities is maintenance in the exhibit.  While they provide things, such as ladders, J.R. has told his boss that some areas are hard to reach.  She authorized these two for a couple of purchases at a local sports store.

Yup, he's changing a light bulb.  He claims it's in a tricky spot.

He is clever, isn't he?
One of my favorite challenges to throw at him is to tell him 'no', or that 'it's impossible'.  Give him time, and he will always find away around it.
I love him.
