We've been waiting desperately for the sidewalks to be cleared so that we could go bike riding. One Sunday, Mom took Amelia to a non-paved parking area to try the biking. She did not like it, and kept thinking she would tip over. Strangely, the very next day the sidewalks were actually clear. Amelia was very apprehensive, but went anyways. Mom thought she'd go with Amelia and walk beside her. Mila started out, got her bearings, and was gone. She was speed on wheels.
The next time, Mom was not going without a bike. While very tired at the end, Mila rode a full three miles. She fell a couple of times, but was not deterred. She rocked!
This little obscure building is the entrance to the 'ice tunnels' (click here to see!). It is was experiment done by the Army Corp of Engineers, and these day relatively few people are allowed access. Except J.R., who has been numerous times. On this particular day, I got to go!
One thing to cross off the bucket list.
This is an outfit that boyfriend Torrin (with no help from his mommy, I'm sure) gave Amelia for her birthday. She put it on, and declared that she felt like a princess. So I tried to get a couple of pics of her, and she insisted that her handsome prince be in it with her.
I got one good one,
and then we were done. Every picture after that was a different goofy pose. Stinker.
