Annetty-poo and the Cornucopia of Delights.

I'm going to admit that after spending the first night in Seward, JR and I were a little disheartened.  We'd hardly been there, and we were water logged!  All of JR's sleeping stuff was sopped, our tent couldn't possibly hold any more water, and my hair was fizzy!  We had planned on stay a little longer, but decided to bail.

Gramma has two kindred spirits in her life, her sister and Annette.  And Annette lives on the Peninsula.  The rest of us love it when 'Pammy and Annetty-poo' get together because it's like watching two school girls together.  Thanks to late night gabs, afternoon shopping trips, and cooking meals together, Annette seems to rejuvenate Pam's soul.  She also has a lovely spare room for Gramma and Grampa, which leaves the camper available!

Annette has seven boys (yes! seven) and therefore is a Grandma several times over.  Somehow, Amelia picked up on that vibe and hopped aboard that gravy train.  The first morning, Annette took her into the inner troves and reveled tutu's, sparkles, and face paints.  You know how Mila feels about face paints . . . .  .
The anticipation was palpable!
She also had some other props.
After searching through the pictures, Mila decided upon a butterfly.  It actually wasn't a real hard decision.

After running out of face, Annette moved on to other body parts.

Amelia was quite unhappy about leaving Annette's, declaring that she wanted to live there 'forever!"

I was unhappy, as well, as it meant I was going to be staying in a tent.  Poor Roger and Annette for having a houseful of impromptu house guests, but I am so grateful to them for letting us stay.  Except now I have just been demoted another rung on the ladder of 'favorites'.  I was unaware I could go much lower . . . . . . .
