And the pixie goes shopping!

I believe the only reason that Amelia agreed to go to Anchorage with us is because she was promised a toy store run.  A run at a very, very big toy store.  She woke up that morning asking if today was the day.  Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?  Are we there yet?

We made the deal that she could put anything in the cart that she wanted, and then she could decide on her favorite at the end.  One.  Daddy walked along side her as she tossed one of everything in the cart.  "Oh, I think I'll like this?"  "And this!"  Amazingly enough (praise the higher powers!), she skipped over all the creepy dolls, like the Bratz and vampire dolls.  She slowed down through the barbie section, but not by much.  Mom went down the pink isles, Daddy went down the blue isles.

She's got a pretty patient Dad.
Once again, she tried out every single car.  She was especially in love with this little beauty.  I told her that Gramma Mini would be proud.
After the two hours we spent there, she decided on a box of play-doh.  For $8.  Dad tried to convince her of something else, but she was dead set.  The irony, of which I believe he was unaware, is that this is the EXACT box that she'd given BFF Kami for her birthday.  She'd been so excited, but I didn't realize how much until this moment.

Dad couldn't bear it, and ended up buying her an additional giftie.  So much for the hard and fast rule of ONE!!  He is such a softie.  It was pretty cool - a safari rescue thing.  Jeep, with a wagon, healing a zebra.  With a medic kit.  So here we are back at the B&B, checking out the new toy.  As you can see, she was she was upset over this father-daughter bonding.
Later in the day while Daddy was shopping for something boring and testosterone filled, the girls meandered through more pink.  I love to see her go through this store.  It pleases her so much.  It also reminds Daddy that he will soon be doubling these pleasures!  He, however, does not feel a need for these reminders.

What does she love most - the pictures, the posing, the silliness, or the dressing up?
There really is no correct answer.
